This very pleasant town local has seen several changes of ownership in the last few years before becoming a free house in 2012. The new owner refurbished it to a very good standard in that year, but it has still retained much character, with flagstone floors, beams and plenty of wood. For the horticultural minded, note the Ginko Bilobo tree in the garden, a species whose ancestry can be traced back over 200 million years.
