Description:

Small and splendid, this is a friendly, cosy town local of some character, opposite the ferry terminal and near the floating bridge – very handy when you’re waiting for either ferry. Maritime memorabilia abounds, including a photograph of the B?yskawica, a Polish warship which gallantly defended Cowes from 160 German bombers in 1942. Ironically, the ship was built at Cowes, and is still sailing. We built ‘em well in Cowes!
