Description:

The front of the pub overlooks what is possibly the biggest village green in the kingdom; known locally as Goose Island. An eclectic selection of memorabilia reflecting local history; from railways to hunting to breweries to maritime; decorates the walls. From Easter to late summer there is an additional tented area outside. Three guest beers include one from an Island brewery; with two extra on the bar during the summer. A public car park is nearby.
