Do not let the unimpresive exterior stop you visiting this friendly bub with good beer and food.  As you would expect there is plenty opf aircraft memorabilia.  There is a restaurant; and nearby; camp sites.  Busy during the summer ;months the the runway seems rather close at times..  Stretching back to the beginnof flight; Bembridge Airport now plays host to the Schneider Tropy event when the skies are filled with planes.   Bembrisdge is also the birthplace of the iconic Islander Aircraft; now seen in the skies over every jungle clearing and small airfield.
