Description:

Family-run; friendly local with a separate restaurant "Salvatores" specialising in home-cooked Italian food. The interesting historic building with a distinctive frontage is said to have been an orphanage and monastic house in earlier times. Possibly one of the oldest buildings in Ryde; early photographic evidence shows it as an isolated building some distance from the shore line. A must for anyone interested in architectural curiosities. There is a small car park to the side.
