Description:

Built in 1866; the Volunteer is one of the smallest pubs on the island. A past winner of local CAMRA Pub of the Year; between four and six guest beers are usually available including a local brew. No chips; no children; no fruit machines; no video games - just a pure adult drinking house and one of the few places where you can still play Rings and enjoy a traditional games night. Live music plays on Sunday afternoon. Westons Old Rosie cider is available.
