Description:

A lovely old country pub a stone's throw from St George's 11th-century church with much character and charm. Black ceiling beams and interesting brassware complement the varied assortment of old signs and bric-a-brac. The pub has a fine reputation for food with an interesting specials board and popular curry night on Wednesday. One of the two guest beers is usually local. Families are welcome and there is a quiz fortnightly in the winter.
